Our History

In July of 1972, we opened for business as "Suzuki of Opelika". As time went on, we expanded to include the Honda Brand in 1976. At that time, the Dealership changed its name to "Honda-Suzuki of Opelika". To this day, we still operate both Brands in the SAME location for over almost 40 years! In fact, we are the oldest Suzuki dealership in the State of Alabama! We proudly sell Honda and Suzuki Motorcycles, ATVs, motorcycles, scooters, reverse trikes, UTVs and Power Equipment (Generators, Lawn Mowers, etc.). We pride ourselves in offering great service and products at the same location for that timeframe. We often hear stories from our loyal customers of how they first came to our Shop with their daddy because "they had to deal with us" and then turns out that we continue to sell to second and even third generations of loyal customers. Just recently in July 2012, we added Polaris® ATV's and the very popular Ranger and RZR side by side line up to our dealership. Then in 2022, we Changed our name to Extreme Powersports Opelika and added CF Moto, SSR, Trailmaster, and Hammerhead. We are continuing to grow as a company and are looking forward to doing another 40 years of business with our customers.

Our Dealership offers sales, parts, and service for both GEM®, Honda®, Polaris®, Polaris Slingshot®,  Suzuki, CF Moto, SSR, Trailmaster, Kayo, and Hammerhead . We can't-do this alone; we have industry recognized staff, with decades of motorcycle experience, to proudly serve our customer base near and far.

We have expanded our capacity to handle today's customer and business demands. We still offer the same great brands people have come to recognize and trust. Our conviction is still true today as it was back in 1972....we still pride ourselves with great service, products, and knowledge so that you feel comfortable doing business with us. We value and respect our customers and offer the best service and products available in the area. That is why we came up with the motto of "Big city selection with a hometown convenience". We NEVER want to forget what made us successful over the years with the relationships we can make with each customer and the trust and honesty we provide.
